CALL TO ACTION: The Greenville Firefighters are asking that you stand with us and call Senator Robbins office and voice opposition to SB 1321 , printer number 1750 if it does not contain the ammendments offered by the Fraternal Order of Police and the Pennsylvania Proffessional Fire Fighters. His office number is as follows:
Harrisburg: (717) 787-1322
The Pennsylvania Professional Fire Fighters Association (PPFFA) would respectfully request that you stand with our organization and oppose SB 1321, printer number 1750. The PPFFA has worked in conjunction with the state lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police in developing meaningful and equitable amendments to this piece of legislation.
SB 1321, printer number 1750 virtually eliminates all collective bargaining in Act 47 communities.
The proposed PPFFA amendments provides mechanisms for Act 47 municipalities to insulate themselves fiscally and bring about financial solvency without severely compromising the collective bargaining rights of those first responders who protect our citizens with their very lives every day.
The PPFFA is available to expound on our position in regards to SB1321 at your convenience.
Please stand with your hometown heroes in opposition to SB 1321 if it does not contain the right amendments.
Thank you for your support.
Respectfully:
Art Martynuska
President
